Office Compatibility Pack Not Working


This could be caused by several issues. I had to re-install Office 2003 and it would not open docx files. We run a mix shop of MS Office 2003, to 2010 and have had 0 issues opening files cross platform with the compatibility pack installed. Since then, I did a test elevation of the user to the Administrators group, still the problem is not resolved. Second error message: "The converter failed to open the file." I have been able to fix with an older version of the Compatibility Pack I was able to source after months There are also Service Packs for the Compatibility Pack.
