Thanks again - a solution that actually works first time. I have switch to use OpenOffice to edit my files. In any case, my fix was to quit out of Word and Outlook, drill down to my templates folder, and delete I have also noticed that some of the keys do not function the same either.

Sometimes a key on the keyboard might get stuck and give you issues. I do not have this problem with Word 2007. Synergy is definitely causing this issue in my situation.
