Afterwards, Auto Expand is working. NO issue. With AutoExpand set to Yes, the combo box, as you type in data, will find the next available data that begins with the values you have already typed. I have tried the following: 1) removing the combobox and putting on a fresh one, running repair, making an entire 2nd form from scratch, etc. 2) making the NOT IN LIST

I had the idea of taking the sample database which you posted back in here, and importing all the objects from my application into it. I pruned that table so it only contained a dozen records. All works lovely when adding a new record BUT when I move to another record the cbo entries in the subform are not there, there are saving to the table are navigate here same result.
