Unfortunately, this is not something that you will be able to fix. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! But when I try and turn it on, the lens pops out a 1/4" and thats it. Suggestions?

Earlier, it would still remember even after months of having the batteries removed .. Tried the top contact arch-up. So far the camera is working as normal and hopefully the new firmware will stop this problem happening again. Now with a free lens cloth!

An overcharged battery will have fried itself due to an excessive amount of charging, and a new one will be needed. And the camera displays the accu full loaded.I think if the accu is completely empty that the camera has a problem to load it.
