Hey everyone, I have read so many of these posts and replies... Another thing is that when idling, because of a lower coolant flow on the original core, there was less heat because the coolant flow was not sufficient. The last time I brought my car in for servicing (for same heat problem), the Nissan dealership lent me a 2003 Altima, and with this car, I experienced the same problem I was at a crawl for 2 hours the whole way home from work (21 miles) and barely any heat came out of the vents.

What I dont understand is how having an RMP of 2000 and above permits heat, while below 2000 RPM, as coming to a stop light, the temperature drops. You might have to loosen the cap on the overflow tank. I'm gonna try this tonight after work. From that day, when I proceed to warm up my car it won't blow out any heat at all until I start driving.nt
