Intermittant sound drop out.. You can simply close it afterwards by using Ctrl+C. so i manual load alsa module with config file , and it work . Just had to do a fresh install. http://3rdm.org/no-sound/nes-sound-not-working.php

Thanks a lot for the helpful post. Ubuntu 16.04 Sound I'll update the article if there is another one. Works with Gigabyte GA-M78SM-S2H motherboard with on-board NVIDIA 8200 video card, using ALSA-driver and ALSA-lib versions 1.0.18a and NVIDIA driver version 177.82. had to reinstall OS.

I`ve remove alle pulseaudio and reinstall all alsa.

I now recall having a similar problem about 20 years ago with a Windows machine - buffer issues which were eliminated by increasing the buffer size.
