It didn't even have an option to adjust the scroll wheel speed on the MS mouse.BTW, I'll be absolutely shocked if Microsoft bothers to update this driver. Move the wireless receiver 3.1 to approximately 2.5 " from mouse and keyboard.Apparently the wireless technology works within very tiny distances. I've taken out the batteries and looked for the microswitch - no luck. The devices our out of their lifecycle, MS is showing very limited interest in hardware sales (let alone Mac support), the last update was from June, 2011, and I believe their It is very frustrating.   I sometimes feel that lifting it up helps, but that could be just my imagination.   The mouse shows no version number but does say it ws Life is too short to deal with wireless mice that do not work and will likely continue to fail. check it out

My mouse the rubber on the wheel was so worn it was rubbing on the plastic wheel cover.
