Mkv Subtitles Not Working Divx

As another resualt I get a message sayign that it won't work and don't bother to try and fix it as it will not work with these subs... ? The subtitles show without problem, but they look very bad! Thanks for the reply. The KMPlayer seems to handle these files just fine (shame the audio doesn't play with the first 12 .rmvb file episodes; nothing to worry about.) Ai Haibara, your suggestion did work Watching H.264 (and other) videos using CUDA/D... I have checked the SRT file and it plays fine in VLC as well as via the USB port of my Sony DVD player.

I don't know there is another way to figure out. The only other one I have that could play the file (as far as I know windows media player doesn't support .mkv and all those other media file types) was DivX, Please refer to our CNET Forums policies for details. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. However, despite allowing you to play these formats, the PS4 media player doesn't at the moment (as of 10 August 2015) allow you to play the embedded subtitles in the files. i think this is called softcoding.

but my TV does not have this function, so i want to integrate the .srt subtitles into the .mkv file. The media player, if you're not aware, should show up on your main PS4 screen, but you will need to first download it in order to use it. Send the file to our ftp server.
