Motorcycle Rear Brakes Not Working

Can you explain exactly what you are experiencing. Clean them with brake cleaner/contact cleaner, brush them up with a wire brush, clean them again and blow them off with comptressed air. I was expecting it to travel thru the lines to the calipers to build up a little pressure, then I would take the cap off and fill the resevoir again. It looks like you're new here. have a peek here

however i also adjusted the pedal the compesate for the extra few inches of pad i have now.air in the lines or pedal adjustment aside it works nowYou shouldn't need to and not coming out when you pump your brakes. You need to have the bleeder screw opened slightly to allow your air and then continuous stream of fluid to exit. Repeated the process and a little more squirted out. You could technically ride just fine without the rear brake — the front delivers the vast majority of a bike’s stopping power — but it’s a bad idea. i think there is air in my lines i dont see how i would have got air in my lines just by pushing on the brake pads but ah well.
