I just soldered over the whole fuse. But is it possible that the solder somehow may work similar to the fuse? I might also suggest grabbing some bits of electronics and pulling them apart to see if you can find something usable there. Thanks again!

So pretty much, its throw away the piece of garbage and buy a new one. I do want to point out that if you have any retailers that handle electronic parts, you should be able to find a comparable fuse without having to ship it overseas. i carefully put that small millimeters of wire and stuck it to the tape then layed the tape on that disconnected circut on D. Xbox 360 Controller Driver Windows 8 Got it back in perfect working condition! Thanks for this, works a charm.
